Amazing for the price.
I moved in with my fiancée last summer and we decided to use my bed since it was a queen and hers was a full. The mattress is a hand-me-down from my parents and is a little old and fairly firm. She's never found it all that comfortable but it's been causing back pain issues and she wasn't getting a good night's rest as of late. We thought about buying a new mattress but we're buying a house later this year and want to upgrade to a king so I didn't want to spend the money on a queen mattress now. I was looking around Amazon at toppers and found this, for $140 and at 4" thick we figured we'd give it a shot.
We've slept on it for 2 nights now and it's been amazing! First thing you should realize is that this isn't memory foam like Tempurpedic is, it's a bit softer than that. It's not normal foam either though as it does hold an imprint memory somewhat. Think of it more as a hybrid between the 2. But at 4" thick it does exactly what we needed it to do; provide a soft, supportive bed to sleep on. My fiancée has slept better these last 2 nights and her back is already starting to feel better. It is VERY comfortable.
The product itself came packaged well, rolled up in a box. It expanded to full size nearly immediately as well. There was a small "mint chocolate" smell to it but once it was under our mattress cover and sheet, we couldn't smell it at all.
If you're looking for a cheap solution to make an older mattress more comfortable, this is a great solution! Sure, a new mattress that's real memory foam would probably be better, but at 1/10th the cost, we're extremely happy with this product.Reviews By Alex B.
Best Memory form mattress.
The Sleep Studio 4-inch ventilated memory foam mattress topper is one of the best purchases I have ever made. I am getting 8 to 9 hours of deep sleep ever since I got this memory foam topper.
Like sleeping on a cloud. I would recommend this memory foam topper to everyone who doesn't have a memory foam mattress.By Tom OB
