Comfiest bed ever.
After using memory foam pillows for the last few years, and testing out memory foam mattresses for short periods--as in, 10 minutes at a time in the store--I decided to take the leap and buy one. But here's the thing: what if I spend $2,000 and find out that over the longer term, i.e. even a full night or more, it sucks? That's a lot of money to throw away, and/or a lot of work to take back.
Enter Sleep Innovations and Amazon! I saved up my Amazon reward points and gift cards, and the mattress cost me about $85 out of pocket. Amazon shipped it free, and the way they have it packed makes it fairly easy to handle, especially if you use a hand truck like I did.
And bottom line, the sleeping is great. No more waking up feeling like I've been in a wrestling match all night. In the colder months, it takes a few minutes to soften up, and then it's like sleeping on a cloud. No way am I ever going back to a regular mattress again.By JP
I'm converted!
I ordered this mattress in August 2011 and couldn't be happier with the purchase! My husband was extremely skeptical about this mattress before I ordered it - something about how he tried sleeping on a memory foam mattress several years ago and it was too hot, blah, blah, blah. He also didn't like the fact that he couldn't lay down on it before ordering. (What does that really accomplish, anyway? Laying down for a minute on a mattress in a showroom probably isn't all that helpful in determining whether you could live with the mattress long term.) I read through all of the Amazon reviews, researched the company, and went over all the benefits of the mattress with hubby. After what seemed like weeks of convincing, he finally conceded and I hit the purchase button. Best mattress purchase ever! There of course was an adjustment period at first (we'd been using conventional spring mattresses all our lives, so an adjustment period was to be expected), but after a couple days, it was heaven! The mattress is the perfect firmness for us and we've had no problems feeling too hot while laying on it. I still can't believe the phenomenal price for this mattress. We paid less for this than we paid for the spring mattress (purchased a year prior to this) for the guest bedroom - and this is 1000x more comfortable to sleep on!

Awesome deal: Quiet, Reduce Back Pain.
When we upgraded from a Queen to a King, we debated whether or not to switch to a foam mattress. After a lot of online research (and without trying out a memory foam) we ordered this one on-line. We also followed the recommendation to buy the smaller main mattress and purchase a 2" or so topper (we got a deal at Target for about $100).
The Upsides: Very quiet. We cat hear each other getting out of bed or notice our kids coming in and hopping in bed in the middle of the night. Also, great on helping to reduce back pain.
Cons: Obviously, the package smelled for a coupld of days, but not much to be done about that. After about 4 months of use, there is a small indentation where we sleep. Nothing major, but it does not fully return to form after use (perhaps it would after several days though?)
