Simply Amazing!!!
I've had horrible back & shoulder pain most mornings when I wake up because if I lay in one position for too long I get all stiff & wake up feeling older than my 30-something years. Our mattress is old & needs to be replaced but I want a memory foam mattress & my husband wants just a better traditional one, so being unable to decide we have just put up with this old one for years. I thought a good way to test the feel of memory foam is to get a mattress topper so I just got this & put it out.
First of all, I wouldn't really call it "memory foam" because it doesn't really retain its shape. It's more of a super high density foam with a gel-like consistency. The smell wasn't overwhelming & went away after the first few hours. It came with a zippered case, which really helps with easy handling & moving it into place. It is heavy enough that it won't shift around on the bed as you sleep.
When I put it on the bed it was a Saturday afternoon & I wasn't the least but tired. I lay down on it to feel the difference & it is SOOOOO COMFORTABLE!!!!! My husband (not tired either) & I wound up taking a 3 hour nap, no joke! It's not so soft that you feel like you will sink in, but it's not hard as a board either. It really gives the perfect support & doesn't make us feel hot whole sleeping, which is a complaint I've heard before with memory foam mattresses. I go to sleep so quickly, I don't toss & turn to avoid the stiffness, & it even minimizes movement transfer though it's only a topper. My dogs have started sleeping in the bed again, LOL! My husband said it feels like a brand new bed & we love this mattress topper so much that we may wind up not even buying a new mattress for a while. I am getting the best sleep in years, & to me that is such a wonderful feeling.
If you have any kind of trouble sleeping, discomfort in the morning, or just want to test out the feel of sleeping on foam before buying an expensive mattress I HIGHLY recommend this mattress topper. It is worth every penny!Reviews By G. Havers "StarfishGH12"
Great value and best topper on the market.
We were concerned about all the issues you hear about with foam toppers and matresses. This product actually smelled minty and we were able to use it immediately. It helped my husbands back issues and avoided us having to buy a new king size foam bed. Since we have purchased this our sleep is more restful and no issues with temperature ( making us too warm). I think the gel keeps it cooler than other foam products. This is one of the best purchases I have made in years. We did get one size larger so that it would definitely fit.

Great find!
I ordered this hoping it would help my chronic neck and back pain. We have an old mattress and I was waking up stiff and hurting each morning. This has definitely revived my old bed! Within two nights of sleeping on this my neck and back pain were gone! I now look forward to going to bed...it feels like I'm getting into a luxurious bed. Also, the smell of this was very pleasant, and within a few days it was gone. The only difficulty is that my sheets barely fit with this on, but I don't mind that if it means getting a good night's sleep.
